How it works
BoardLoop keeps things simple. No online payments, no middlemen — just surfers connecting directly to buy and sell boards.
For buyers
1. Browse the boards
Search and filter listings by board type, size, price, and location. Find something you like? Check the photos, read the description, and see what the seller has to say.
2. Message the seller
Reach out directly through BoardLoop's built-in messaging. Ask questions, negotiate on price, and sort out the details — all in one place.
3. Meet up and pay in person
Agree on a time and place to meet, inspect the board in person, and pay by cash or bank transfer on pickup. Simple as that.
For sellers
1. List your board
Create a free listing in minutes. Add photos, describe the board, set your price, and publish. During the beta, listing is completely free — no platform fees.
2. Respond to messages
Interested buyers will reach out via BoardLoop messaging. Reply quickly to keep things moving — serious buyers don't wait around.
3. Meet up and sell
Arrange a convenient meetup, hand over the board, collect your cash or bank transfer, and you're done. Your old board has a new home.
Safety tips
BoardLoop connects real people, so a bit of common sense goes a long way:
- Meet in a public place — a car park near the beach is ideal.
- Bring a friend if you can, especially for higher-value boards.
- Inspect the board thoroughly before handing over any money.
- If something feels off, trust your gut and walk away. There are always more boards.
- Never transfer money before you've seen the board in person.
